Wow, what an amazing First Quarter Assembly we had on October 23rd! Greenbrier had so many reasons to celebrate at this assembly. We began by having Howler of the Phoenix Coyotes arrive as our surprise guest and the students went wild. Howler helped us kick things off by honoring staff members that have been with us ten and twenty years. A big "Thank You" to those who have given so much to make Greenbrier great. We were also treated to musical performances by our First and Second Graders. Next, we celebrated students making the Honor Roll and Principal's List. We finished the assembly by acknowledging students who achieved "Perfect Attendance" and were introduced to the new Student Council members and Board. Check out the photos from the event in the "Photo" tab and be sure to join us for our next assembly in December!
We will now be able to offer Free Childcare during all PTA Meetings starting at our October 15th meeting. RSVP with Aimee @ email@example.com
We have been giving the wonderful opportunity to offer an event to help parents learn how to better parent children in the world today. Please read the following flyer for more information.
Thank you to our fabulous volunteers for Picture Day. All of our students looked great and gave their best smiles to the camera.
Also, we will be selling Otter Pops on Thursday, September 12. The pops will be sold for 25 cents and will be available during Lunch Reces
_Just a quick note to remind everyone that school pictures are scheduled for September 11th. Teachers will be sending home order information within the next week or so.
Wow, what a great turnout we had at our first Family Fun Night of the school year! We had over 140 people join us for our General Meeting and Bingo Event. Everyone enjoyed the root beer floats and winning fun prizes while playing Bingo and getting to know new Greenbrier friends. One of the highlights of the evening was the introduction of our 50/50 Raffle which was a HUGE success! The raffle raised $100 for our great school, while the winner received $100 as their part of the winnings. You can bet that Dennis will be back at our events offering this fun chance at a great prize! If you weren't able to join us last night, we look forward to seeing you at our next Family Fun Night, September 24th at Yogurtini.
Please join your PTA for a brief general meeting which will immediately followed by a FREE family fun night filled with BINGO, prizes, Root Beer Floats and a 50/50 raffle. All family members are welcome to join in the fun! Please meet us in the Cafeteria on Tuesday, August 20th from 6-8pm.
Hope to See You All There!
Wow, can you believe that the first day of the 2013-2014 school year is upon us? Back to school always brings mixed emotions, some sad, some happy. We may be sad that our days of sleeping in are over, but I'm sure that most of us are thrilled to be back with our friends. We have so many fun things planned for this year and that can only make us HAPPY!
The first bell will ring at 8:50am and students are to go directly to their classrooms to begin the day. We wish everyone a great day and look forward to seeing everyone on campus.
_Wow, what a great "Meet the Teacher" night and Peter Piper we had last night. It was great to see so many familiar faces and to meet new ones as well. We debuted our new Spirit Wear shirts and it looks like we have a hit! If you weren't able to order one last night, please let us know and we'll make sure to assist you in your order.
We're looking forward to a great year and hope you are too!
That's right, the first spirit event of the new school year is at Peter Piper, 75th Avenue and Bell Road. Call your friends and make your plans to meet for pizza either before or after the "Meet the Teacher" event at school. This should prove to be a great time to catch up with your friends and to make new ones as well.
